Karen is fast becoming one of the more well versed sand carvers out there. In the last few years she has won awards in several shows in a seemingly nonstop fashion. One of the more recent additions to the Sultans Of Sand stable of top carvers, we are lucky to have her when we do because like all the hot carvers, Karen is on tour most of the year carving all over the place. She is very handy with a shovel. Almost petite, she can move as much earth as men that are much bigger than her. Her dedication to sculpting and ever ready eagerness to pitch in, marks her as indispensable at any sand event. This is her second showing at Jesolo, but she will be welcome here as long as she wants to keep accepting the job.
Rich had heard of Karen through other sand sculptors and finally met her at a show in Texas where they were both working in the late 90s. One look at Karen's work firsthand, and Rich knew he would be hiring her for top level shows.
