The Opening of the show: 

Any Grand Opening of distinction has to have a brass band n03-4band01.jpg (33757 bytes).This was no exception.  The band played Christmas carols ala Dixieland Jazz.   The mayor of Jesolo, the president of Venice, n03-4speech01.jpg (65483 bytes)and the director of the tourism board all made speeches n03-4crowd01.jpg (60341 bytes)The crowd was eager for the doors to open, as the air outside was quite cool

 

 
When the doors opened,  the party started.  A reception by the Marconi Piazza Merchants association included food and beverages.    The photographic exhibition is always a big hit too. Here people can see the behind the scenes aspects of the event, in pictures.n03-4fotox.jpg (25466 bytes)
