~Another fine 'Sultans Of Sand Worldwide' project ~
Schedule:

08, June. Artists arrive
-
09-18, June. Working days. Work hours are: 8:00AM - 12:00PM.
and 2:00PM - 6:00PM. Middle break 12:00 -2:00

19 June Opening Day (carving is optional, but you are
required to attend the opening ceremony).

20 June Depart, or scheduled free day.
The theme is Hollywood divided into ten different subjects.
There will be one 3.5 meter pound up for
each artist to sculpt their subject. (see subject sketches in the links
below) The pound ups are placed diagonal to the front view. There are no
base piles. The pound ups start on the flat beach level.

Plan Layout of the show:

Please do some research and send me a sketch
that shows how you intend to sculpt your subject elements, as soon as possible.

Please plan to carve the pound ups mostly in the round, on all surfaces
that will be in view. The very back side will not be seen.

There are about six of the ever popular "student helpers" from the Venice
Art Academy this year. We will have to share them.
Other Miscellaneous Notes:
-
Your travel arrangements and hospitality are arranged by
Lorena
Mucelli in the producers office. Please CC me copies of on any
and all correspondence that you have with my producer or the travel office
so I know what is going on at all times.

We are staying at the Corallo Hotel.
-
Usual benefits apply (private room, meals, airport shuttle, etc.) Other
charges such as bar bill and phone calls are at the artist's expense.

Please work at least all of the scheduled hours each day. Media arrives
anytime during those hours. Do not change your work hours.

Please do not arrive for meals after the times posted by the hotel management.
Lunch: arrive Before 1PM. Dinner: arrive Before 8PM.

Please bring your Sultans Of Sand T-shirts with you for the photo
day (probably towards the end).

If you do not have a Sultans Of Sand T-shirt, please let me know so
I can bring one for you.

The producer may ask you to wear Jesolo Sand Sculpture Event ID clothing
too.
-
Please do not wear anything that identifies any other sand sculpture
events or companies while working on this job.

You will be required to sign the usual artists release form in
order to be paid.
It is going to be another fine event.

wonderful contributions to the show.
