Damon renders a piece that is chock full of action.

2. Alexi Diakov, Russia
Alexi rounds out his family of bears.

3. Alessandro Buonapane, Italy
Alessandros' major prep work and pound up has paid off. His
massive tower still stands.

4. Baldrick, Holland
After the total collapse of his central figure, and in
the process of salvaging what was there, he loses basically the rest as
well. It's definitely time for plan B.

5. Marika Tormikoski, Finland
Marika presents a slightly new theme. In addition to the
wolves, forest and moon, she adds Draculas' castle.

6. Dale Murdoch, France
Dale continues at a steady pace. He is one of the few
that are relatively trouble free the last two days.

7. John Gowdy, USA
John has added outstretched hands to the Pope, and today will
incorporate some children carved in sand to his
piece.

8. Niels Vegter, Holland
Niels has three minor collapses in the same place. (front
left corner) But he repairs and continues each time with a
calm grace.

Tomorrow is the family sand sculpture contest which will be judged by
the pros. And also, the awards presentations
