ALICE IN WONDERSAND

   This display format, as well as the rest of the show in general,  was designed by the Rich Varano as the event director, and approved by the producers. Each individual sculpture you see here however, was designed and created by the artist(s) responsible for each vignette respectively. A total of ten such artisans, representative of some of the finest that are working in the medium of sand in the world today, cooperated to create this particular element (one of several) of CDM 2001.
It is Italy's largest sand sculpture ever.

The circular pedestal displays ten sequential vignettes from the worlds largest rendition in sand
of Lewis Carroll's classic tale: Alice in Wonderland
