Brad wins the 'Rookie of the Year' award. Not that he is a sand sculpting newbie, by any means. He holds more world championship medals than most people have pairs of socks. He is new this year to the Sultans Of Sand stable of worldwide carvers though. Albeit I have been courting him for a few years. He is the definition of a production carver; fast, able, talented and smooth. Trouble free in spite of some sand challenges like form collapse and three pretty massive poundups to do all by himself. He also won the NBA* this year, and was not even aware of it. He has also garnered a place on theSOS tean for the Italian winter show,  the sand Nativity too. * No Bitching Award

The phrase was used extensively by the Democratic party of president Andrew Jackson after 1845 to promote the annexation of much of what is now the Western United States (the Oregon Territory, the Texas Annexation, and the Mexican Cession)   Settlers would walk, ride horseback, or travel  in caravans of covered wagons to reach the new frontier
