Who are the
Sultans Of Sand?...
Basically, the name "Sultans Of Sand" refers to the work done by many people, whom are or have been employed by Varano Sand Sculpture Company LLC. Often, but not always in teams.
Basically, the name "Sultans Of Sand" refers to the work done by many people, whom are or have been employed by Varano Sand Sculpture Company LLC. Often, but not always in teams.
The "Sultans Of Sand Worldwide" is the
team moniker for a consortium of over one hundred people. Many
of them (the sculpting team) are award winning international master
sand sculptors who are living and working all around the globe. They
come together in diverse numbers depending on the scope of any given project
at various locations to create amazing displays in this delicate
art form. In all instances, the various teams or individuals work
in cooperation with the American director, Rich Varano. Varano owns and
operates one of the worlds oldest and most successful companies of it's
kind, in the small yet burgeoning industry of professional sand sculpture
service providers (Varano Sand Sculpture Company LLC) Be it a single carver,
or a team of 40 persons working in concert, they create magnificent
displays in this truley captivating medium of professional (world class)
sand sculpture at different sand-related special events all around the globe.
All sculpting team members are accomplished artists in their own right. They represent the very best of the best currently working in the world of modern commercial (professional) sand sculpting. Each person also possesses other varied and sundry talents and skill sets ranging from teaching, architecture, medicine and earth sciences, to painting, music and other arts as well.
Besides the sculpting crews, many other people work in support roles at these unique events. Varano is most gratful for the opportunity to work with all these fine peopl, ,in bringing great entertaining art to the masses on all continents.
