6.) Action Films Sculpted by Radek Zivney - Czech Republic
Action films are the complete antithesis of tearjerker types of movies, or “Chick flicks” as they are euphemistically referred to in Hollywood. These testosterone vehicles are usually full of lots of action of the rough & tumble type. Generally surrounding a featured leading male role character(s), these types of films are jam-packed with chase scenes, lots of shooting, attractive women (often scantily clad, at least part of the time) and also lots of stuff blowing up all over the place.
In this Genre of films, “Series” films are often popular. Not only the James Bond films, like Goldfinger and The Man With the Golden Gun & The World is Not Enough, but also and the Indiana Jones films such as Raiders of the Lost Ark, and The Temple Of Doom. There are also the Schwartzeneger films Terminator, & T2 Judgment Day, Plus the Rambo and the Die Hard films. Often these types of films will do very well financially at the box office, but not generally speaking they do not do very well by the critics or at the awards.
